Deputy Liam Quaide asked the Minister for Health her plans to address recruitment and retention issues affecting clinical practice tutors in radiography; her plans to ensure increases in the number of student radiographers are accompanied by an appropriate increase in the number of practice tutors; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Officials from my Department and the HSE are working closely with the Union to resolve the matter under the auspices of the WRC. As this is an ongoing industrial relations matter it would be inappropriate for me to comment any further.
