Dáil Éireann Debate, Thursday - 23 April 2026
380. Deputy Seán Ó Fearghaíl asked the Minister for Education and Youth if she will intervene to prevent the proposed closure of a school in Kildare (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [29430/26]
View answerI wish to advise the Deputy that the matter raised relates to a naíonra/preschool. My Department has no role in the opening/closure of naíonra/preschools. Support for childcare, including pre-school education falls within the remit of my colleagues at the Department of Children, Disability and Equality.
