The school referred to by the Deputy is currently accommodated in the completed Cherrywood ETNS school building and in modular accommodation on an adjacent Minister-owned site pending delivery of the school’s permanent project on the Abilene site.

Following consultation and agreement with the school and its patron body, two additional mainstream classrooms and one Science Lab will be provided in modular accommodation to meet the requirements for the 2026/27 school year.

The Department continues to liaise with the school and its patron body in relation to progress and programme for delivery.
