Deputy Aidan Farrelly asked the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration if he will provide a schedule of EU-funded projects undertaken by his Department from 2020 to date in 2026 in the areas of risk, emergency planning, crisis management; and/or were coordinated by his Department, or in which it participated. View answerMy Department has not itself undertaken any EU-funded projects in the areas of risk, emergency planning or crisis management.
However, last year, my Department participated in an EU-funded World Bank country consultation into Ireland's review of the strategic emergency management structures. This was coordinated by the Office of Emergency Planning in the Department of Defence.
