Deputy Aidan Farrelly asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if he will provide a schedule of EU-funded projects undertaken by his Department from 2020 to date in 2026 in the areas of risk, emergency planning and or food security; and/or were coordinated by his Department, or in which it participated. I wish to inform the Deputy that the information requested in relation to EU-funded projects undertaken by my Department from 2020 to date in 2026, in the areas of risk, emergency planning and or food security, is set out in the attached table.

Technical Assistance and Information Exchange (TAIEX) Study Visit, in cooperation with DG ENEST, by the Montenegro Directorate for Food Safety, Veterinary and Phytosanitary to Ireland on the Organisation and implementation of official controls for food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary affairs, August 2025.

*OPW Brexit infrastructure = Infrastructure delivered at Ports and Airports (primarily Dublin Port) to ensure customs and controls points were compliant with new requirements after the Brexit Transition Period. These works were co-funded by client Departments at these sites including DAFM.

** Rosslare Infrastructure = Infrastructure delivered at Rosslare EuroPort. These works were co-funded by client Departments including DAFM.
