I was very pleased, as part of Budget 2026, to have achieved an increase in Programme membership from 126 to 136 members, honouring the Programme for Government commitment in respect of Family Resource Centres. The Budget 2026 negotiations also secured funding to provide for an increase in minimum core funding to the centres to a new base level of €180,000, up from the previous base level of €160,000.
