The Adult Literacy for Life (ALL) Strategy is a ten-year national strategy launched in September 2021. Governance and oversight of the Strategy are supported through a Cross-Government Implementation Group, the ALL National Programme Office, the National Literacy Coalition, Regional Literacy Coordinators, and Regional Literacy Coalitions. As part of the independent mid-term review of the ALL Strategy, which is currently being commissioned by SOLAS, the effectiveness and appropriateness of these governance and oversight arrangements will be assessed.

Meetings of the Implementation Group and the National Literacy Coalition will recommence on completion of the review, and the learning arising from the review will be applied to the governance arrangements to enhance delivery of the Strategy for the remainder of its implementation period.
