428. Deputy Conor Sheehan asked the Minister for Transport the reason two-car regional units are still being allocated to the Limerick to Galway train route which is one of the busiest evening peak services on the corridor; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [35238/26]

As Minister of State, I have responsibility for International and Road Transport, Logistics, Rail and Ports; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport.
