430. Deputy Conor Sheehan asked the Minister for Transport the reason 22000-class intercity units have not been permanently assigned to peak Atlantic Corridor services despite repeated overcrowding; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [35240/26]

As Minister of State, I have responsibility for International and Road Transport, Logistics, Rail and Ports; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport.
