The current expenditure levy in question is to be applied to the 2027 vote allocation for my Department. There is no change to my Department’s 2026 allocation. The application of the levy will form part of the 2027 Estimates negotiations.

The basis for the calculation of the levy applied on expenditure is a matter for the Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation.
