Deputy Cian O'Callaghan asked the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality if findings of Tusla investigations form part of the Garda vetting process; if statutory bodies, such as the Teaching Council, are informed of the findings of an investigation by Tusla; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I wish to thank the Deputy for this question. However I must advise that this is a matter for the Minister for Justice Home Affairs and Migration and/or An Garda Siochana as this Department cannot respond to questions about vetting processes conducted by An Garda Siochana nor whether the findings are shared with other statutory bodies.
