1350. Deputy Paul Lawless asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science the basis on which the Erasmus+ funding allocation for a consortium (details supplied) was reduced by more than 70% compared with the mobility numbers applied for; the criteria used to determine reductions in allocations where demand is high; if he will review this decision in light of the fact that comparable consortiums received full funding for their requested mobilities; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department does not hold records relating to applications under the Erasmus+ Programme. These are managed by Léargas who act as the legal entity for administering the Erasmus and ESC programmes.

My Department has notified Léargas of the Deputy's request and asked them to respond directly to the Deputy in due course.
