The use of private messaging apps in my Department is covered under the Appropriate Use of ICT Resources policy and in line with the DPER circular 09/2019 "Policy on the Use of Private Email and Other Private Messaging Services".

Staff are issued with advice and guidance on the use of messaging apps and mobile phones as part of mandatory cyber awareness training and ongoing cyber security awareness campaigns.
