View answerMy Department maintains a policy regarding the use of messaging applications, informed by guidance from both the Government and the National Cyber Security Centre. All ICT-related policies are made available to all staff members.
Use of messaging apps is subject to the requirements of the ICT Acceptable Usage policy. Advice and guidance on the use of apps and mobile phones is provided as part of our structured Cyber Security Awareness Training programme.
It is required that all applications be used strictly in accordance with departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations.
