1487. Deputy Claire Kerrane asked the Minister for Health the number of social workers who have been registered with CORU in each of the years 2024, 2025 and to date in 2026. [40249/26]

Minister for Health

As requested by the Deputy, the total number of social workers registered with CORU at the end of 2024 was 5,638, as published in CORU's 2024 Annual Report.

Data provided by CORU indicates that this number increased to 6,044 social workers at the end of 2025 and to approximately 6,279 at the end of April 2026.
