The Walks Scheme Development Fund (WSDF) is available to local development companies to support and enhance trails that are already on the Walks Scheme.

A maximum of €10,000 funding is available for small-scale capital works that can include trail surface improvements, signage and waymarking, new picnic and recreation areas, and rerouting of trails away from busy roads etc. These projects are led by local development companies in collaboration with landowners, community trail management organisations and other stakeholders.
