464. Deputy Colm Burke asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Finance the estimated yield to the Exchequer from an increase of 50 cent and €1 in the excise duty on 20 cigarettes, and a pro rata increase in excise on other tobacco products; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [39946/26]
View answerI am advised by Revenue that the estimated yields for these proposals are published on page 24 in the Revenue Ready Reckoner. The Ready Reckoner enables calculation of the cost or yield arising from a range of potential changes to tax charges and is available on the Revenue website at:
