Deputy Cormac Devlin asked the Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment if he will provide a report on the progress made implementing the Programme for Government commitments within his remit and on the achievements since the formation of the Government; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerThe attached table sets out the progress made on key Programme for Government (PfG) commitments under the remit of my Department since the formation of the Government. The key PfG commitments are grouped, as appropriate, to the relevant goals from my Department’s Statement of Strategy, Le Chéile 28, which was published in September 2025. These strategic goals are strongly aligned to key commitments in the Programme for Government 2025.
Significant progress has been made against key Programme for Government commitments under the remit of my Department, and we will continue our critical work to ensure the future successful delivery of commitments. A detailed summary this progress for 2025 will be provided through the DCEE Annual Report 2025 which is currently in development.
