Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration the number of prosecutions in total thus far initiated by Gardaí for breaches of regulations under the Health (Preservation and Protection and other Emergency Measures in the Public Interest) Act 2020; the number of such prosecutions currently pending or being pursued by the courts; and to provide a breakdown of the offences these prosecutions are for; the number of convictions secured to date; the total number of jail sentences imposed to date; the total number of court-imposed fines; and the total monetary value of those fines.
