842. Deputy Ivana Bacik asked the Minister for Education and Youth if she is aware that an organisation (details supplied) has put a building on the market for private sale that is on the same site as a number of schools; and if she can ensure that it can be purchased by her Department and used for educational purposes to accommodate the new Gaelcholáiste. [42349/26]

My department does not intend to purchase the building referenced to by the Deputy in her enquiry. There is currently sufficient accommodation within the current school buildings to meet the needs of both the current school and the Gaelcholáiste.
