Question:

212. Deputy Mattie McGrath asked the Minister for Health the reason a relative of a deceased person has been refused access, under the Freedom of Information Act 2014, to non-clinical mortuary records, including mortuary logbooks, times of admission and release, and related administrative documentation held by a HSE hospital; if she will outline the policy basis on which such records may be withheld; if she will confirm whether mortuary administrative records are considered personal health information or operational records; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
