312. Deputy Michael Cahill asked the Minister for Health to provide as a matter of extreme urgency a new maternity unit at University Hospital Kerry as there are clinical risks to both mother and baby due to the location of the existing maternity unit, as it is too far from theatre; the progress that has been made in respect of this matter in 2025; if she will provide a sixth operation theatre to facilitate obstetrics and gynaecology demands there; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
