Deputy Jennifer Whitmore asked the Minister for Transport given that the 132 service is the primary public transport link for communities including Baltinglass, Tullow, and surrounding areas, the specific measures he intends to take to ensure reliable, frequent services for rural communities in Wicklow and Carlow who have no viable alternative transport; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport.
