I wish to advise the Deputy that my Department processes all Parliamentary Questions in the same manner and in line with the Standing Orders of Dáil Éireann.  My Department does not have a specific technical mechanism in place to identify whether Parliamentary Questions have been generated using artificial intelligence (AI).

As regards the cost of answering a Parliamentary Question, this would vary based on the nature, complexity and type of question, the number and level of staff involved in preparing the response and how the relevant information is held within the Department or in the bodies under its aegis where relevant.
