Written answers

The estimated cost of equalising 18-24 years-of-age rates of jobseeker's allowance with the standard rates is €75 million. This includes increases for qualified adult dependents, where relevant.

It should be noted that this costing is subject to change in the context of emerging trends and the associated revision of the estimated numbers of recipients for 2026.

I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
