109. Deputy John Paul O'Shea asked the Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment the total value of unredeemed deposits retained under the deposit return scheme in 2024, 2025 and to date in 2026; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [46933/26]

I refer the Deputy to the reply to Questions numbered 382, 383 and 384 of 13 January 2026. The position regarding the value of unredeemed deposits remains unchanged.

When published, Re-turn's 2025 annual report and financial statements will contain audited figures for unredeemed deposits for the year in question. I expect the report to be published in the coming weeks.
