View answerI am advised by Revenue that a description of property owner is not required in the LPT return as this information is not necessary for the administration of the tax. Therefore, it is not possible to isolate properties owned by landlords from the data. Additionally, it is not possible to identify the principal private residence from other properties owned by a multi-property owner. As such, Revenue cannot provide an estimate of the costing requested.
