Questions (644)

Ken O'Flynn

Question:

644. Deputy Ken O'Flynn asked the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality her views on the labour market impact where a parent, disproportionately the lower-paid parent in a household, is forced to reduce working hours or exit the workforce due to the unavailability of afterschool childcare; whether her Department has conducted or commissioned any analysis of this effect on workforce participation and tax revenue; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
