Deputy Paul Lawless asked the Minister for Health the reason a newborn baby (details supplied) has remained in Children's Health Ireland at Temple Street since 28 May 2026 without a clear diagnosis or definitive treatment plan; the steps being taken to establish the cause of the child's condition; the reason there appears to be delays and inconsistencies in treatment decisions, including the consideration of surgical intervention; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
