Deputy Sorca Clarke asked the Minister for Health the reason a person aged 98 years, who has been approved for thirteen hours of home support per week has been advised that no home support workers are currently available to provide the approved care, they are only available for four hours a week; the steps being taken to ensure that the approved hours are delivered; whether alternative arrangements through private or voluntary providers will be put in place pending recruitment; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
