230. Deputy Malcolm Byrne asked the Minister for Defence the number of complaints made by her Department to social media or online marketing companies about specific online posts or accounts for each year from 2020 to 2025, and to date in 2026. [48609/26]
View answerBased on available records, my Department made a total of three complaints to social media platforms regarding specific online posts or accounts over the period in question.
This comprised of two complaints in 2020 and one complaint in 2021. No complaints have been identified for the years 2022 to 2025 or to date in 2026.
My Department's use and management of social media is carried out in accordance with its published Social Media Policy, which is available on my Department's website.
