687. Deputy Seán Ó Fearghaíl asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when the report into an investigation concerning a farm (details supplied), for which a chairperson was appointed in January 2025, is expected to be finalised; the current status of that investigation; the projected timeline for publication of the findings; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Dr. Sean Brady was appointed as independent chairperson of this review in 2025.

Dr Brady is engaging directly with the herdowner to progress this review.

As this review is independent of my Department, it is not possible for me to provide a timeframe for completion.

A decision on publication will be made, on receipt of the final report, in consultation with the herd owner and the independent reviewer.
