Written answers

Ireland was notified in March 2024 by the Registrar of the International Court of Justice of the initiation of proceedings by Nicaragua against Germany, along with all other states parties to the conventions cited by Nicaragua in these proceedings.

While Ireland has not intervened in this case, the Government has monitored developments in it since its initiation and will continue to do so.
