183. Deputy Pa Daly asked the Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment to estimate the revenue that will be saved by cancelling the subscription to the energy charter treaty. [50382/26]

Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment

National contributions to the Energy Charter annual budget are calculated pro rata, based on the UN scale of assessment. The amount varies slightly from year to year, but the approximate saving would be €45,000 annually. The last payment was €44,628.
