205. Deputy Pa Daly asked the Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment the dates on which the accelerating renewable energy taskforce and each subgroup met ,in tabular form, in each of the years since the taskforce's inception [50416/26]
View answerAs previously advised to the Deputy in April of this year, the Accelerating Renewable Electricity Taskforce (“ARE Taskforce”), comprising some twelve Government Departments and State Agencies, has met regularly since its inception in 2023 to monitor and progress actions.
The most recent ARE Taskforce meeting was held on 25 May 2026. The dates of each ARE Taskforce meeting and minutes for previous ARE Taskforce meetings can be found at www.gov.ie/ARET.
The working groups of the ARE Taskforce also meet on a regular basis as determined by the working group chairs, rather than the taskforce, to ensure delivery of the annual work programme. In addition, the ARE Taskforce’s PMO and Pillar Leads meet with industry representative bodies regularly to allow for engagement to deliver on objectives and associated timelines and address barriers affecting achievement of onshore renewable electricity targets.
