Questions (867, 868)

Liam Quaide

Question:

867. Deputy Liam Quaide asked the Minister for Health the reasons a replacement of the Owenacurra Centre, Midleton, originally expected to be completed in Q1 2025 now has a significantly longer timeline; the way in which this timeline compares with the projected timeline for the much more extensive Midleton Primary Care Centre, where construction has not yet commenced; whether the HSE considers the current timeline acceptable given the loss of local residential mental health capacity in east Cork; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
