Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation the estimated total annual costs of private consultancy fees across the public sector over the past five years, for Government departments, State agencies, State-owned companies, semi-State companies, and other bodies in the CSO Register of Public Sector Bodies, by category, by year, in tabular form; and to provide the reports published by his Department, IGEES or other bodies under his Department's aegis which consider the cost effectiveness of reliance on private consultants in the public sector.
