An Coimisiún Pleanála will consider the environmental, biodiversity and habitat impacts of the Water Supply Project for the Eastern and Midlands Region (WSP-EMR) as part of the planning application submitted by Uisce Éireann in December, 2025.

Under section 30 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended), as Minister I have no role in any individual planning application or in any specific aspects of a planning application.
