Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration the number of vehicles identified as having no current motor tax through electronic checks, including automatic number plate recognition and linked databases, in each year since such systems were introduced; the number of vehicle users identified who were male and female; the age profile of such persons in five-year age cohorts (details supplied); the county in which each detection occurred; the number subsequently prosecuted; and the number convicted, in tabular form.
