As the Deputy will be aware, I attended a meeting between the Taoiseach and the Ukrainian President in Dublin Castle during the opening ceremony of the EU Presidency on 1st July 2026. The meeting covered a broad range of topics of mutual interest to both countries, including a brief high-level discussion on potential opportunities for cooperation in the area of drone technology. Specific details of the Ukrainian proposal were not discussed during this meeting.
