Deputy Pádraig O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 885 of 14 July 2026, the total monetary value of the HSE National Clinical Waste contract awarded in 2018 (details supplied); the portion of that contract value attributable to the national unused medicines return and disposal scheme; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Under the Health Act 2004, the day-to-day operational responsibility for the management and delivery of health services is a matter for HSE. This query has therefore been referred to the HSE for direct reply to the Deputy.
