As Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and funding in relation to active travel and sustainable transport initiatives, including the National Mobility Hubs Programme. However, the National Transport Authority (NTA) has statutory responsibility for the planning, development and implementation of the programme, including the engagement and management of any external consultants.

The detailed information sought by the Deputy regarding fees budgeted and paid to consultants by the NTA as part of the National Mobility Hubs Scheme, including a breakdown by local authority, is an operational matter for the NTA.

Accordingly, I have referred the Deputy's question to the NTA for direct reply. Please advise my private office if a response is not received within ten working days.
