147. Deputy Naoise Ó Muirí asked the Minister for Transport the numbers of applications received for the eSPSV26 scheme this year; and whether the scheme will reopen in 2026. [67038/26]

Minister for Transport

The Electric Small Public Service Vehicle Grant Scheme supports the uptake of EVs in the SPSVs sector (taxis, hackneys, and limousines).The scheme is funded by the Department of Transport and administered by the National Transport Authority of Ireland (NTA).

A total of 1,642 applications were received for the scheme this year. There is no plan to reopen the scheme in 2026.
