Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Transport if free travel passengers are now being treated differently than paying customers, specifically, that free travel passengers cannot book a return seat a month in advance without being charged €2.50, while paying customers can; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport.
