282. Deputy Seán Kyne asked the Minister for Transport if he will provide an anticipated timeline for the progression of the National Vehicle and Driver File, Road Traffic and Roads Bill 2026; and when he expects the Bill to be enacted. [68484/26]

The National Vehicle and Driver File, Road Traffic and Roads Bill 2026 passed Second Stage in the Dáil on 17 September 2026.   A request for approval to draft and move amendments at Committee Stage in the Dáil will be submitted to Government shortly. Progression through the Houses thereafter is subject to Oireachtas scheduling.
