Question:

649. Deputy Micheál Carrigy asked the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality the steps being taken to address the critical waiting lists for occupational therapy and psychology services in County Longford; if she is aware of the case of a child (details supplied) who has been on waiting lists for both services for almost two years; if interim emergency intervention, access to a speech and language therapist, or Cross-Border/National Treatment Purchase funding for private assessments will be provided; and if she will make a statement on the matter. As this question refers to the service matters, I have asked the Health Service Executive (HSE) to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
