The Department of Education and Youth does not directly fund schools for the costs of educational tours.

Where a Board of Management is satisfied that a school tour should proceed, such a tour may be undertaken without seeking prior approval from the Department.

I wish the students and teachers at Abbey Community College, Boyle all the best with their endeavours.
