Ireland continues to maintain diplomatic channels of communication with Israel, following the decision of the government of Israel in December 2024 to close its embassy in Dublin. Our embassy in Israel continues to carry out important work.
The Ambassador of Israel to Ireland, Her Excellency Ms Dana Erlich, is accredited to Ireland on a non-resident basis. I have not met with her in the past 12 months.
