55. Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade whether she is aware that organisers of the latest Freedom Flotilla to Gaza have been imprisoned in Tunisia (details supplied); and whether she will make representations to the ambassador and government of Tunisia calling for their release. I am aware of reports that four organisers of the Global Sumud Flotilla were arrested in Tunis on 6 March 2026. 

My Department, through our officials in headquarters and in our Embassy in Rabat, which is accredited concurrently to Tunisia, will continue to monitor this situation.
