Deputy Michael Lowry asked the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration the number of pending criminal prosecutions in County Tipperary in which drugs seized have been submitted for forensic analysis; the number of prosecutions in County Tipperary that have been delayed, adjourned, withdrawn, struck out, or otherwise affected due to delays in obtaining forensic drug analysis reports in each of the past five years and to date in 2026; and if he will make a statement on the matter. 1018. Deputy Michael Lowry asked the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality the steps she is taking to address the shortage of speech and language therapists available to children with additional needs given disability support services in North Tipperary have been impacted for a number of years by vacant posts and a lack of resources; the current waiting times for children with Down syndrome to access appropriate speech and language therapy in County Tipperary; and the contingency plans in place when experienced therapists leave positions such as the one recently vacated in the area this month. Deputy Michael Lowry asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage if he will review current planning and housing design guidelines to ensure that the needs of families with disabilities are more comprehensively reflected in future housing developments; his views on the lack of accessible three- and four-bedroom family homes being delivered in new housing schemes, particularly homes incorporating a ground floor-accessible bedroom and bathroom; whether he will consider introducing a requirement that a proportion of family homes within new residential developments be constructed to an accessible standard suitable for families with disabled children or adults; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
